Kill Lupercal
KILL LUPERCAL
Kill Lupercal was an exciting project to score, especially because it is the first narrative episodic animation we’ve done set in the Horus Heresy era of the Warhammer 40,000 lore. The Siege of Terra is an incredibly exciting (and dangerous!) environment for storytelling. I composed a unique score that utilized choir, string orchestra and a ton of unique and unusual synthesizers!
It was recorded at the legendary Village Studios in Los Angeles, and mixed at Abbey Road studios in London.
The first episode of Kill Lupercal is available to watch now on Warhammer TV for Warhammer+ subscribers. Kill Lupercal is the first animated series set in the Horus Heresy on Warhammer TV. It takes place in the dying days of the Siege of Terra – the most brutal and iconic battle in all of Warhammer. While every aspect of humanity was present in this battle, from the mighty Primarchs and their Legions to the lowliest mortal troopers, the heroes of this story are the God-Machines – the Titans. You can witness Aurora Ferrum in action in the first episode of Kill Lupercal now, with episodes two and three on their way in the coming weeks.
