BLACKTALON is the exciting first major animation project set in the fantasy world of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Neave Blacktalon is a Stormcast Eternal, champion of Sigmar, a living weapon dedicated to rooting out and destroying the worst evils that threaten bastions of humanity in the Mortal Realms. Neave and her dedicated team of warriors must find and defeat an emerging danger, chaos worshippers in service of Nurgle, the god of pestilence and disease. But as she prosecutes this holy war, she starts to doubt her own reality as troublesome memories of another time, another life, and potentially another path emerge.

Can she get the heart of that mystery, of her own self, whilst still fighting this endless war for Sigmar?

Blacktalon was an incredible opportunity to explore the Age of Sigmar world for the first time, and to develop a unique sound for the franchise. It was a gargantuan task- composing a massive score under tight schedules as well as producing the recordings.

I wrote and recorded for a 79 piece orchestra, as well as a large women’s choir that varied between 20-80 voices for various musical pieces. Recorded over a week in Budapest, Hungary, then mixed for 16 days at Peter Gabriel’s legendary RealWorld Studios near Bath, England.
